We all have hear that punishments are necessary for the improvement and also to make sure that same mistakes won't repeat in future. But considering the student's point of view, in some cases it develops a repulsive image and in such situation rather than learning from those mistakes students try to hide it and prefer to be secretive and maintaining discipline in such a way is not at all a good option to choose.
