Hi friends, today I changed the seating arrangement of my class for an activity which is inspired by one of the module of gurushala. I made students seated in groups of 4 facing each other. This arrangement is known as cluster seating. After finishing the Science chapter "different parts of plants and their functions".I gave them a review activity. I distributed chart paper and ask them to prepare root system, shoot system, flower diagram etc. Students enjoyed the class as they sat in cluster and it made it easier for them to know each other better. They helped each other and shared things among them. Everyone in the group wanted to give their best. I believe this tool could go under student directed theories.

Hello friends I am sharing a great experience of my class room today. I taught a chapter of science class 6th different parts and functions of plants. Starting with lecture method I used 10 to tackle method. In which I gave the students 4minutes to think and 6minute to process . Students ask some questions but very often I watch that some of the students do not engaged in the class room. Which was a big problem for me. But after using the course student engagement form gurushala I see a transformation among the behaviour of students. First to identify the less engaged students, I used marking the stars ? method. I can find the students who participated less in the class. I gave them response cards to write their answers some of the students who get less stars ? guess right. This is the appropriate method of identification and assess. And in the next class they all are ready to give the answers as they feel confident that they can give the right answers . If they are wrong i write on the back of response card the right answer .by this method they don't feel embarrassed. And I am wittnessing a major change in the potential of my students.
