Technology has revolutionized the field of education. The importance of technology in schools cannot be ignored. In fact, with the onset of computers in education, it has become easier for teachers to impart knowledge and for students to acquire it. The use of technology has made the process of teaching and learning all the more enjoyable.

Importance of Technology in Education

The role of technology in the field of education is four-fold: it is included as a part of the curriculum, as the instructional delivery system, as a means of aiding instructions, and also as a tool to enhance the entire learning process. Thanks to technology; education has gone from passive and reactive to interactive and aggressive.

Education is essential in corporate and academic settings. In the former, education or training is used to help workers do things differently than they did before. In the latter; education is geared towards creating curiosity in the minds of students. In either case, the use of technology can help students understand and retain concepts better.

This enables students to watch the classes at any time. These classes help learners to revise the topics quickly.

Forms and Spreadsheets

This helps Teachers to collect data from students like attendance, mark sheets, marks. This can be used to collect feedback from students so that they can able to to enjoy the learning. This enables the students for a fun and interest-based learning environment.

Animation, Slides, and Presentations

PPT can enhance the teaching and learning experience for both staff and students. It provides encouragement and support to staff by facilitating the structuring of a presentation in a professional manner. From the studies above, it is clear that PPT and Animations can enhance learning for some learners especially those who learn strongly from visual material. Also obvious is that if used well by a teacher it can be a motivational tool for engaging students with the material being presented. This helps in building practical minds. All the practical lessons and experiments can be taught extraordinarily.

A quiz is a form of Game or mind sports in which players attempt to answer questions correctly. It is a game to test knowledge about a certain subject. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills. For this, there are many online quiz platforms that can be accessed easily.
