The Draft NEP recommends scrapping of Board exams and Science/math/commerce streams in class 11th and 12th in its present form. It recommends that boards examinations should be spread over 8 semesters (Class 9-12) where there are certain core subjects and then various optional subjects across all disciplines. Do you think this will improve the output of students when they graduate from school? Or will it dilute the subject specialization in high school?
