There is a lot of research that shows that the skills needed are: 1. Higher cognitive skills like innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. 2. Social skills including leadership skills (authentic and real leadership) 3. Emotional skills or EQ and empathy

The current education system needs to evolve to focus on these skill development. Keep in mind that students can access most information online and so we need to add value as teachers giving them life skills.
