The impact is significant, especially on students mental health. Being away from social interaction with friends and teachers, as well as the routine of school can have significant neagtive impact on the mental health of students. In addition, students who are in verbally or physically abusive families, they will have added emotional distress. In addition, students will likely lag behind academically especially for those without access to technology. However, please do note that everyone is in the same boat globally and across India so looking ahead, education boards will need to adjust the content covered and what is examined accordingly.
