Customized learning paths based on interests
Dear Anjum, Great question. Improving writing skills is difficult without face-to-face interactions. One would hope students have access to a computer so they can send work to teachers to get feedback. It's also important that students revise their work once they get the feedback, because studies show that feedback without revision does not help so much. But if they do not have a computer, this is a challenge. Students could focus more on reading and keep a journal as they read each article or poem or story. You can ask for this journal after they come back to school. Hopefully they have a textbook they can be studying at home. If they have a mobile, make sure to communicate a reading plan with both students and parents. My best wishes on educating our future. Warmly, Dr. Michael Grafals
