Be open to the children about the present situation. I think if we talk openly they will understand. I have nine year's daughter and amid this lockdown, she is not with me. I used to send her selective videos on class four maths or some class four English. she then after the video she writes or completes sums and share with me through WhatsApp. It is also required that after some online activity children do the off-screen activity. I encourage to write a story, do some painting, do some music and dance. Also, another recommendation is to monitor if children are into online gaming or chat. See some global example in the link.
