You will have to deal with the mental status of children. this is not normal and children are not used to it. you should understand that your and children's anxiety is completely normal. Make sure that you are using “reliable sources [such as the UNICEF and the World Health Organization’s sites] to get information, or to check any information you might be getting through less reliable channels,” And remember: “There are many effective things we can do to keep ourselves and others safe and to feel in better control of our circumstances: frequently wash our hands, don't touch our faces and engage in social distancing.”

Dear Suzzane, This is a tough time for all of us and physical and social distancing has become the norm to prevent yourself. Now the first thing is to accept that there is a Virus, we need to respect the norms and reduce the risk-taking behaviour of meeting friends. Engaging young children is a herculean task. Few tips can be online competition with a friend like all of them have to write poetry, a small story, painting, singing a song and share with other friends.. inspire them to do so. Can we also take them through some small guided meditation to reduce the stress level and ask them to make a wish list that after this lockdown.. what are the things they would like to do first? Creating a worry wall is another method, where they are allowed to draw, write the worries coming in their minds. I am sending a youtube link for meditation. 10-Minute Meditation For Anxiety https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-6f5wQXSu8 Abhishek to add more. Regards
