विद्यालय की चारदिवारी के अन्दर मानव जाति का भाग्य गढ़ा जाता है- प्राचीनकाल से ही विद्यालय समाज का प्रभावशाली ... प्रायः स्कूल वाले तथा शिक्षक यह कहते पाये जाते हैं कि समाज में आज जो हो रहा है उसके लिए हम क्या कर सकते हैं ? ... शिक्षकों को नौतिकता के प्रेषक, चरित्र के निर्माता तथा उदार संस्कृति के संरक्षक की अपनी पारम्परिक भूमिका है !
