As teachers when dealing with young children, it is important to see if children are being secured their Child Rights ... we see that in many situations children do lack basic facilities or access to entitlements... yes, along with that come Responsibilities but as adults we must be sensitive to their Rights and once Rights are available to them, it IS our and their responsibility to take care of the facilities - be it books, uniforms or school infrastructure... But as important are emotional and other needs of children ... our study shows: 9% say parents / elders punish them physically (pinching, beating) 82% say they are worried about exams most of the time 63% say they are scared to express ideas/opinions in class 61% said students get beaten in school for various reasons
