I work in a school where students come from different economic and social backgrounds where students are themselves not wanting to be active because they feel the system & government are unfair to them , what do I do then as a teacher to make them active citizens?

I think it is imp to show success however small. See how you can create some change in school to get them to feel hope... and that can be a beginning... as an example... we have seen that even a clean up of classrooms and placing cardboard dustbins and running a cleanliness campaign is a start... first children need to feel that change is possible and can begin with them
