I disagree with the statement because responsibility is ours means that responsibility lies within the teachers! I do not agree, it also lies with their parents, the extended family, the community they live in And greatly the governmental agencies other than teachers! Every contributing factor is a learning element for them!

As a teacher, there are various situations wherein we have engaged the students with the community by taking out rallies during swachh bharat & also campaigns during health camps etc! We also have had gender senstization camps that talked about giving more rights to woman & girl children and establishing the idea of right of equality to be extended to them as well ! There are many acitivities which are not doen directly but does impact the foundation of the constitution & its principles while students learn from those events !
