Whenever I conduct a group activity in the classroom, all the children do not participate in the group. So what can I do to make all the children join the group?

Activity should be creative to the students ..Teachers should explain about the importance and learnings from the activity .. Teachers should encourage and motivate to that students ....

Often I see in my class that group activity does not really engage all students because of lack of interest but what has worked in my class is giving them leadership roles in the group which makes them much more responsive, engaged. I have also realised that group activity also needs to be frequently changed on how it is conducted as same pattern of Group Discussion might bore the students as well.
