What is the reason for the lighting bulb with a magnet?

The combined energy of the magnetic field and motion of the magnet within a coil of copper wire causes the electrons in the wire to move, which is an electric current and hence the current can be used for lightening a bulb !

When magnets are placed near wire that carry electric current a force is exerted on the wire. Therefore the electron moves.
