Sports Authority of India I .e.SAI was established in 1984 and is the apex body for sports in India. It comes under the Ministry of youth affairs and sports, GOI. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore (shooter who has represented India in Olympics) is a current chairman of SAI since he is given independent charge as minister of state for youth affairs and sports. He is an MP from Jaipur. Mr. Rathore is quite a popular personality these days because of the different fitness challenges he spreads across the country.
