I have limited time in the class. Even after using story telling method, I need to help students learn the content. How do I manage both? How can I use stories to help students remember specific content like years, provisions of a law etc.?

We tend to remember dates once it becomes related to us in some way or the other. For the students to retain the information you provide them in the classroom, ask them to create stories out of facts that you present them. Once the students write a story, all by themselves, they'll be able to retain the information easily.
