First, you need to understand what does the term “revolution” mean in the field of agriculture or production. In many parts of the world, the word “revolution” is generously used by the social scientists and others to highlight the increase in use and production of certain commodity and how it is now affecting the economy in a small or big way. The name of these agriculture or production revolution often start from some colour name as in the case of agriculture, it is the Green Revolution and in the case of milk, it is the white revolution. The colour is actually associated with colour of that agro product or commodity. The term “Brown Revolution” is often associated with the organic farming and improving soil quality. However, as told earlier, the term is frequently being exploited by people, the Brown Revolution is also being associated with the increase production of Coffee, and development of the leather industry. Colour revolutions is a term that is widely used by worldwide media to describe various related movements that developed in several countries. In this post we are going to see about all the revolutions which were focused for the different areas like agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture, dairy products, poultry, meat etc. White colour Revolution or Operation Flood White colour Revolution or Operation Flood was launched in 1970 by National Dairy development board With the vision of transforming India from the milk deficient country to the milk producing country.India surpassed USA in milk production in 1998 due to White Revolution. Verghese Kurien Is known as the father of white revolution Blue colour revolution The term blue colour revolution refers to the remarkable emergence of aquaculture as an important and highly productive agricultural activity. Aquaculture refers to all forms of active culturing of aquatic animals and plants, occurring in marine, brackish, or fresh waters.Blue revolution started in India in 1970 Through the fish farmers Development Agency. Dr. Hiralal Chaudhuri and Dr. Arun Krishnsnan known as Father of Blue revolution. Golden colour revolution Golden revolution started in the period between 1991-2003. This revolution was standard about increasing the produceof horticulture products and honey. Nirpakh Tutej is known as father of Golden revolution. Silver revolution Silver colour revolution was centred around practice of raising poultry, such as chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, as a subcategory of animal husbandry, for the purpose of farming meat or eggs for food. Indira Gandhi is known as father of silver revolution. Yellow colour Revolution Yellow colour Revolution was launched to increase the production of Edible oil seeds. In this revolution I have implantation of hybrid mustard and sesame seeds took place which increased the production of edible oil by the significant amount It was launched in 1987. Sam Pitroda is Known as father of Yellow Revolution. Pink revolution Pink revolution was launched to increase the Pharmaceutical,Onion and prawn production in India. Durgesh Patel is known as father of pink revolution. Grey colour revolution Green colour revolution was launched in India to increase the manufacturing of fertilizer. through this moment government establishes many fertilizing manufacturing units throughout the country.

Sir, brown revolution is a revolution related with organic farming improving agriculture So that the farmer not only grow for their living but for earning also. It also include production of leather and cocoa. The father of brown revolution is not known.
