	Considering criminal activities in India, there are children who are involved in these criminal activities. According IPC, below 18 are considered as children. How can crime be viable irrespective of the age? What is the role of teachers and educators in their students’ lives so that they don’t get involved in such crimes?

This is something very crucial that we need to talk about iat this point. The problem is in the lifestyle of students. A lot of crimes are committed by these students because either they are lonely, they find crime glamourous, Peer Pressure and Influence. The idea is that when these laws were made, it was presumed that children below 18 years are innocent and there they are tried under the Juvenile Justice Board and their punishments are not that Harsh. Because as Society they have a long life and we should encourage them and give them a second change. As educators, it is important to take care of the mental health of the children. Also you need to regularly interact with the students and check their peer groups. But remember there is only so much that you can do. Punish those who are found guilty so that tomorrow someone does do commit a crime just because he was a victim of a crime.
