Vashishtha Narayan Singh (2 April 1946 – 14 November 2019) was an Indian academic from Bihar. A child prodigy, he completed his PhD in 1969. He taught mathematics at various institutes in 1960s and 1970s. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia in early 1970s and was admitted to the psychiatric hospital. He was lost during a train journey and found years later. He was again admitted to the hospital and later returned to the academics in 2014. He died five Days later. For more information

He studied at Patna Science College after which he went to University of California in 1965 and completed his PhD on cycle vector space theory in 1969.Yeah… it is absolutely correct that dr. Vashishtha Narayan Singh challenged the Einstein's equation.,E=MC^2..While doing his research in united States , ongoing research studies , it is speculated that his family economic conditions worsened which impacted his mental stability as well due to which he could not completed his research neithe rhis Phd. Nevertheless, the true reason i think he is remebered because of his contribution to academics wherein he has taught in numerous colleges & universities untile he could ! He was indeed remarkably blessed !
