Sir, I feel disturbance is always present in class whether it is the backbenchers not listening or some student irritating other students and like wise because control over class is not possible ! The best attribute i have tried in my class is to conduct class on bargain or trade off like if you listen to be calmly and make notes for the first 20 mins of the class, i will give them 10 mins break at the end of class or if you do homework, i will not take any surprise test and likewise ! Relationships in class and how students trust you is something that is the basis of the continuing the class even if there is disturbance because distrubance cannot be controlled !
