Some students who are slow learners in my class, tend to think that I don't pay much attention to them and I favour bright students. What should I do to make them feel inclusive in the class and clear their doubts?

Sometimes students do feel this and it is difficult to understand their psychology but yes if you have analysed that this type of problem is emerging in your class then you should definitely take some actions. It is very important to build confidence among your students. Here are some tips- 1) Have individual conversations with such students if possible. 2) Try to take queries as much as possible. No student should feel ignored. 3) Reflect back in your class and analyse that you are not biased with students while teaching. 4) Pay extra attention to slow learners to bring them in a pace with brighter students. 5) Don’t end a topic before clearing doubts of each learner. 6) Keep your expectations equal from each type of learners. Don’t take any learner for granted. 7) Select students randomly for asking questions and assigning class duties. 8) Give equal chances to slow learners too to showcase their skills. 9) Identify the good skills of slow learners and appreciate and help them to improve 10) Appreciate them for their good work.
