The inherent qualities such as caring, trust, and mutual respect in a teacher-student relationship increase a teacher's rapport with students and improve their attitude in the classroom, thus creating an environment that affirms and supports them the students achieve the best.

A student must feel connected to the school or class as this impacts the performance of the student. If a student does not feel connected to anyone in the class, he/she will not be able to concentrate on the study. So it becomes crucial that there should be a healthy relationship between the teacher and students and this is only possible if there is constant interaction between them. 1) A teacher should constantly have a discussion with the students to understand them better. 2) Teacher and students together can plan how should their class look and what can be done to make learning better. 3) This motivates students to perform well in the class if he has a good relationship with the teacher.
