Our classrooms are a mix of each type of students and like you said it sometimes become difficult to handle hyperactive students. To channelize the energy of these students you can do the following things: 1) Observe your students on certain parameters 2) Try to understand the reason for such behaviour, if required have a conversation with their parents to know them better 3) This type of students may have difficulty in paying attention in the class so try to engage them in some hands-on activities 4) Try to give them some individual attention 5) Ask questions and encourage them to answer, also keep appreciating them for their good work Please check the provided link to know about some games and techniques to calm down hyperactive students.
