Teacher supposed to teach students then why they build any bond with any students? Why the student-teacher relationship is important?

It plays a big role in students academic progress and development. Students Good relationship creates a comfortable zone which helps a students to ask his academic queries and sometimes a personal problem. A teacher is not supposed to teach a child what has been given in the books only. S/he is also responsible to foster and cater the needs of child for overall development. Overall development includes emotional, social, moral development etc. So a good relationship is essential to give a child a healthy environment where he feels secured adn cared.
