How do I develop curiosity & the tendency to ask as many questions as possible in class! I don't understand why students are hesitant in sharing their problems or raising questions even though I try to make the class quite friendly? Please share some ideas!

Every child is not the same in the class, they have to teach according to their interests. We should be asked personally about their problem and try to overcome them. Classroom environment should prepare according to the chapter.

Ma'am, here are some tested tips- 1. Build a confidence among students 2, Keep open ended discussion session once in 10-15 days related to syllabus or something you feel should be discussed. But with some basic instructions. 3. Write important keywords on the board. After delivering your lesson, have a discussion if time allows you. For example, write some English/Hindi/Urdu words on the board and then ask students to use them in a simple sentence. 4. Give them an assurance that their personal problems will not be revealed. 5. Don't insult a child or make them feel ashamed in front of the class. Counsel them personally. I hope it will help you.
