General Dyer opened fire on the peaceful gathering at Jallianwala Bagh on 13th April 1919 as General Dyer wanted to enforce martial law very strictly in Amritsar.

More than a thousand people and children were also killed in this accident and it is known as the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre

जनरल डायर पहले से ही जानता था कि बाग में लोग जमा होने वाले हैं. उसने मौका देखा और अपने सैनिकों को लेकर पहुंच गया. जिसके बाद डायर ने बिना किसी चेतावनी के सैनिकों को गोलियां चलाने का आदेश दिया और चीखते, भागते निहत्थे बच्चों, महिलाओं, बूढ़ों की भीड़ पर 10 से 15 मिनट में 1650 राउंड गोलियां चलवा दीं.
