So the diameter is 8 cm because it is 6+2. So being its half, is the answer 4 cm which is the radius?

As it is clearly appearing that the line is not passing through the center of the circle so, it is cannot not be a diameter.

Sorry, but your answer is wrong. AB is never mentioned as diameter it is just a chord. By the way, answer to the problem is (√65)/2

Let center point be O then We know that, CO*OD=AO*OB CO=AO*OB/OD CO=2*6/3 CO=12/3 We get CO=4 Now, We know that 4R²=CO²+OD²+AO²+OB² 4R²=4²+3²+2²+6² 4R²=16+9+4+36 R²=65/4 Now R=√65/√4 R=√65/2 Answer.......
