Well, sometimes the biggest distraction for the daydreamers is that there is nothing else going on other than the droning of the teacher's voice! They always need something to do with their hands or feet to be able to focus on what you're saying.

Coming to class disorganized means your child is spending time searching for the tools and material needed to learn rather than paying attention to what is being taught. Anxiety about school or grades can be another deeper issue leading to lack of focus in the classroom.
