There are two purposes for keeping a teaching journal. The first is to record ideas and events so as to reflect on them later. This supports the author's memory and can inspire new ideas for use in future lessons. The second purpose is that “the process of writing itself helps trigger insights about teaching.
In the reflective diaries, student teachers have written their teaching experiences during practice teaching which is included in their experience before the classroom teaching, during the classroom teaching, and after the classroom teaching. Data Collection and Interpretation
