Formal education is what students learn in a traditional classroom. Informal education is anything learned more independently outside of the traditional classroom. It can be things that are self-taught by researching or reading, or through things that are experienced.

For formal education, we get the proof recognised by government bodies but when it comes to informal education, the person gets skills, and learns but doesn't have proof to prove what he learnt.
