Why does the sun not revolve around Earth?

It takes 24 hours for the Earth to make a full rotation, but since the sun isn't a solid object like a planet, its rotation is harder to pinpoint. "Since the sun is a ball of gas/plasma, it does not have to rotate rigidly like the solid planets and moons do," according to NASA

Because Earth has much weaker gravity. Sun has a mass of 333000 piles of earth, which means it has much stronger gravity. Because Earth is 333 000 times less massive it does not have gravity strong enough to influence Sun's movement, while Sun has strong enough gravity to influence Earths movement.
