What type of activities  should we emphasize  in teaching of science  at primary level?

Hi Meenakshi,

For primary level, it is important to make lessns enagaing and fun for kids to enhance their interest and curiosty. We can include more hands-on activities, take the kids outside - let them observe the surroundings, ask questions, and design experiments. 

Cooking can be great indoor activity to help kids learn about food, its origin, states of matter, changing states of matter, etc.
