What activity would you suggest to introduce Roman Numbers to students of class 4/5 students

Hi Shobha,

We can introduce students to Roman numbers by asking/ telling them to think about where they may have seen Roman numerals recently. Some of the examples are like clocks, buildings and monuments.

Introduce them to number 1 to 12 with the help of the clock on which hours are mentioned in Roman numbers. 

Take them outside the classroom and ask them to collect small twigs of similar sizes and let them create Roman numbers using them. This will not only keep the kids moving but also give them opportunity to be hands-on.
