The peninsular tip of Kanyakumari is bordered on three sides by the Laccadive Sea. It is located at the confluence of the Western Coastal Plains and Eastern Coastal Plains. Kanyakumari is at the southern tip and is the southernmost point of the contiguous Indian Subcontinent

Kanyakumari- the Southernmost tip of Indian Peninsula where the Arabian Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet together. In 1970 I visted this place and could see borders of these three; but not this time. Locals said that it is missing since Sunami 10+ years ago.
