the concept of examinations has been a manner to simply clog the brain with facts that a student might not even be interested in.
and even now we don't have an answer or alternative to problems like rote learning, gaining marks by memorising things, a standstill to the development of the young minds.
however, we definitely have an answer to the problems of increased pressure, better opportunities as well as development. and that is the abolishment of exams from the curriculum and the introduction of continuous assessment throughout the year based on the interests as well as the activities of the students.

the point where you talk about continuous assessment, thats already been fulfilled by examinations, if you saying you want to abolish the exams, means no type of evaluation should take place, and if any type of evaluation is taking place in your scenario... then thats exams only.

By evaluation, I refer to spectating activities students do, testing their skills. You surely do not have exams 'everyday'. The notion here is to focus on day to day assessment, if that makes it clearer.

The clogging of brain with facts without having the ability to question the authenticity of facts makes students in this fast paced world dumb.
