Interpersonal communication skills are essential for almost every aspect of life. We can do the following to help students :

1. Model the interpersonal skills when you interact with others. For example, when you have a disagreement with your colleague, show it to kids that these can be sorted in a matured way instead of screaming.  

2. Role playing also helps. Give them situations to act assuming what will they do if such situation actually comes. 

3. Listen patiently when they are talking. Most of the time we just tend up hearing.
