For the overall development of students, we need to ensure that they are firstly skilled in all the basic needs of day to day work:

1) Communicating effectively- this would involve both writing and speaking skills. Make students practice more story writing or diary keeping. This really makes a difference 

2) Listening and Learning- include group activities and games that test the student's attentiveness and grasping power

3) Confidence- instill feelings of self-believe and self-esteem in student by constantly encouraging them and ensuring to use our words carefully for constructive criticism
