In today's world, resorting to online classes is inevitable. For the benefit of our students - i.e. their health, hygiene, as well as their future which will involve a lot more online tools and technologies - it is essential that we use the medium of online teaching platforms effectively. 

It definitely is a struggle when majority of our students don't have access to smart phones and adequate internet connection. We can definitely use a hybrid system for teaching and learning i.e. use both online and offline resources - so that no student is left out. 

Apart from that, we can constantly stay connected with parents through phone calls. Another solution is to create groups f students based on locality. If one student per locality has a smartphone, we can instruct them to come together and learn in groups, or share resources and lectures according to time slots.

I think you should go for online and offline as well. Those who have internet access can take online classes and who are deprived of this can be taught as previous. Bcoz no one can help each other by calling other student at their home due to pandemic.
