It is extremely important. Children cannot understand what is being taught if they don't understand the meaning of the words used. Some children have the ability to understand better in a situation as a whole even if they dont know some words. Other children get lost and lose focus when they hear a word they dont know. It breaks their confidence and discourages them. Lower confidence will demotivate them from learning.
