*Should constitution be taught as a subject in School Curriculum*
I don't think there is a separate need of introducing a new and lengthy Subject. The required syllabus of constitution is already been taught in CIVICS subject (part of social sciences) after 4th or 5th grade in various schools.
So there is no need of introducing this as a difference subject.

I don't know ma'am , what is your criteria of saying that it is already being taught as much as required . As per my opinion we know the principles of our constitution but knowledge of its acts , our rights and duties still lag behind .

Absolutely right! If we talk about the knowledge of the school students, they know about fundamental rights and their duties but that thing is still not everywhere.

The knowledge about its basic principles, understanding of preamble, our fundamental rights & duties ,some important acts &laws as RTI , Dowry Prevention act etc. are already taught in Social Sciences books . So these basic things are my criteria .

According to you, just because this subject is lengthy, so there is no need to introduce it as a separate subject but the point is to understand that if the constitution will be included as a separate subject then it will be ensured that few portion of it which is according to the standard of class will be added in each division of class. This will not bring the pressure on students. And most importantly, if the students will study it as a separate sub. then automatically they will give it as the same preference , pressure and accoutability which is given to the current main subjects and they will be able to understand well with wide sphere of knowledge. And i think it will be great because it's supreme law of india and as a citizen we must study.
