Will non contact games be beneficial for small kids?

For kids aging 8-11 years old games such as badminton, tennis , cricket, karate katas, cycling are good options. For kids more than 12-year-old - All the sports mentioned above plus track and field events, kickboxing, squash, Skating, Snooker are good options

Yes, at a younger age, kids have the advantage to work on basic skills which will get them interested in the sport as well as prepare them for further training as they grow up and have to focus on more things than just basic skills such and strength, power and speed development as that they can compete with others
