I don't think so .Though handwriting is an important and gives the first impression of the work done by the child but marks should not be affected bcz of handwriting. The main aim is to check whether the learning outcomes have been achieved or not, whether the child has understood, relate and can apply the concept correctly ....handwriting should not be a parameter for marks .
Handwriting plays an important role in overall exam at temptation and presentation.Handwriting is first impression of student's work. But acc.to my point of view, handwriting should not be considered a parameter for marks in exam. Examination process is to assess learning level of students .But it is also true that a good handwriting gives better impression to examiner.
we should never judge a child with his /her handwriting alone. Always emphasize on their learning outcomes .As a teacher we can ask them to improve their bad handwriting but still the focus should be on imparting real education that is increasing the ability of child.
No, marks should not be affected by handwriting of students .A good handwriting is not the sign of wisdom,if this was the case then handwriting of all the doctors would be good. Teachers often advise students for good handwriting. There is no doubt if child is intelligent and at the same time he has a good handwriting then it acts as an icing on the cake. But we should never judge a child with his /her handwriting alone. Always emphasize on their learning outcomes .As a teacher we can ask them to improve their bad handwriting but still the focus should be on imparting real education that is increasing the ability of child.
Students should not be graded on their handwriting. It is widely believed that students with good attractive handwriting are an ideal for those with bad clumsy handwriting and that extra marks should be given for good handwriting.
