Although I explain the children that it is not necessary that poem should be rhyming, it is just to make it catchy, that we end the sentences with rhyming words. But still children keep struggling to frame it in rhyming way, and start hunting for such words.
So how do I overcome this?

You can simply provide your learners with a list of rhyming words that would also help them build up a good stock of vocabulary (e.g. train - brain - drain - rain - grain) I mean to say help them remember as many rhyming words as possible .
