In today's scenario, children are becoming more and more addicted to mobile phones.How they can be motivated to develop hobbies instead of becoming addicted to mobile phones?

Like i said in a previous answer, this behavior has to be discouraged within households first and schools later. also, as teachers you must realise that spending time on phone does not equate to the student doing something wasteful. a lot of beneficial material is available on the web. you just need to to direct the student towards it. so in my opinion, asking the student to NOT spend time on screen is not the solution.
