The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued an SOP for a partial reopening of Schools for students of Class 9-12 on a voluntary basis, for taking guidance from their teachers. As the name suggests, in the process of unlocking and resuming activities, the guidelines have only been published for partial reopening and not full fledged classes. Precautionary measures contain general health measures like wearing a mask, using alcohol based sanitisers, more focus on washing hands etc. and a few measures mentioning crowd control, social distancing and exempting a few general activities for student etc. The new normal is going to be a lot different and a lot of guidelines have to be followed in the process of partial reopening of schools which will be allowed for 9-12th standards, 21st September onwards. I am attaching the guidelines here. Click on the link below for more details.

Even I have gone through the precautionary message released by the government ! They are quite in detail and focus on voluntary attending of students to school for select session! The onus is on us teachers, how can we make the best of the situation! Thank yitu shreya ma'am for sharing but I was wondering how will governement keep and eye on its implementation. That's too an important question!

According to my opinion school should not be reopen until the situation get completely controlled. Whether it may be for junior students or for senior. After all children are children. No one is larger than them.

It is not advisable to start schools as the number of cases are still increasiing. Everything can be learnt online. All the concepts can be learnt through online classes where teachers do interact personally. After December if there is fall in ghe the number of cases then we can think about it.
