Plant cell has cell wall but animal cell has no cell wall.Plant cell contain chloroplast while animal cell has no chloroplast. In plant cell ,nucleus is pushed towards corner due to large vacuoles while in animal cell nucleus is present in center as vacuoles are small.
Plant and animal cells have several differences and similarities. For example, animal cells do not have a cell wall or chloroplasts but plant cells do. Animal cells are mostly round and irregular in shape while plant cells have fixed, rectangular shapes.
Difference Between Plant Cell and Animal Cell - Functions Plant Cell Animal Cell A plant cell is enclosed by a hard/rigid cell wall along with the plasma membrane. The animal cell is enclosed by a thin, flexible plasma membrane.
A difference between plant cells and animal cells is that most animal cells are round whereas most plant cells are rectangular. Plant cells have a rigid cell wall that surrounds the cell membrane. Animal cells do not have a cell wall
