Namaste Ramkrishnan ji, The concept of gender needs to be dealt very sensitively with children. You can start with gender inclusive practices in the class first like, asking the girls and boys to sit together, play together, don't say things like,"boys don't cry" or "girls can't lift heavy objects. Little changes would allow children to grow up in a gender equal space and would create space for further conversations. As the child grow, have more detailed conversations with them through activities, videos, games, dialogues. We would be uploading activities on gender that you can practice in your classroom with your children. Do check it out !
