I agree that learning instruments at an early age gives an advantage to children as these instruments increases their concentration and power of imagination . Music reduces stress too...So it should be a mandatory practice in schools so that each and every person can have music in their life whenever they need . One more fact is that we can learn new things at early age easily....With increase in our age our capacity and intrest to learn reduces gradually.

It is true that learning instruments at an early stage gives an advantage to the children. Music is already a mandatory subject in most of the schools. But in practice it is only an eye wash. It just becomes a period for rejuvenation where most of the times group songs are sung and practiced. So no doubt that, it should be encouraged by teachers, but it's proper training is possible only on weekends. For this, students should either have Saturday as a day for hobby course in school, or they should have a 5-day week so that during weekends they can join the hobby course

Yes! Ofcourse, We can not underestimate the power of music. Actually Music and Musical Instruments teach us art of living. In hindi methodology, Lord shiva has art of dance "Tandav" and damru, lord Krishna play fluet, Narad Ji ek taara, Godess of Vidya Saraswati play veena. These are some examples where all yogi and peaceful image has atleast one musical instrument. A little child also please to play tuttri.... Yes! In present scenario with education music as the art form play very significant role.
