Dear Sir

I had a lot of apprehension towards Math. In daily life, I understand its implications but have been really poor with formulas. Is there a way in today's time where we can work on making maths fun for our students rather than them being aversive of it. ?

Hello Ma'am, I understand your concern. Math is made a nightmare because students are shown that Math is a collection of formula, theorem and hard facts. As teachers and guardians, it is our responsibility to show students that Math is so much more than that. A simple thing would be to make Math story based. Let them know why a Mathematician came up with a certain formula. If we introduce our students to the thoughts famous mathematicians had, they will start thinking like mathematicians. So they won't try to remember formula, they will try to explore more ideas, and eventually they will learn everything any formula or theorem has to offer.
